What an year it has been, that is, 2009!

When everybody thought the world is finished in global economic malaise, we've bounced back from the ashes like the Phoenix!

The recovery in world markets is quite remarkable and unprecedented to say the least.

It's given hope to long-time equity investors like me. In the year 2008, long-time investors looked like idiots. And several blokes literally laughed at people like me for not selling equities during the first week of January 2008, when Sensex reached 21,000.

At long last, long-term equity investors have the last laugh in 2009, though long-term guys like me could recoup only up to 90 per cent of our 2008 losses!

LONG LIVE LONG-TERM EQUITY INVESTMENT!

The last four months are more eventful to me in a different way. My articles about financial markets, written with passion, on www.scribd.com/vrk100have received immense popularity from several fund managers, equity investors and general public across the world. My seventy or so documents, running into more than 450 pages, have attracted TOTAL READS of more than 29,000 so far on SCRIBD, in just a matter of four months.
